Gazans will try to breach Israel’s sea blockade by boat this week in a fresh challenge to Israeli forces following weeks of terrorism and violent riots at the security border fence that separate Israel and Hamas terror group ruled Gaza.
Few details were given on the plans, but they said the boat would depart on Tuesday at 11:00 am, carrying injured Muslim terrorists, students and job-seeking university graduates, and terror-sympathizers in general.
Organizer Salah Abdul-Ati called on the United Nations and other international bodies to protect the boat leaving from the Hamas terror group ruled enclave.
Gaza boats are generally limited to six nautical miles offshore, and the Israeli navy regularly fires warning shots at vessels who go further.
Last week Israeli fighter jets targeted two boats in the Gaza seaport, in response to infiltrations and arson attacks. According to Arab reports, the targeted boats were due to depart to meet a flotilla of terrorism-sympathizers hoping to reach Gaza.
