22 Israeli tourists, including children, traveling in a tour bus to a salt mine in Slănic, Romania were injured Sunday in an accident.
According to reports by Romanian news sources, those injured—most of them suffering only light injuries—were evacuated to nearby hospitals. Not all passengers in the bus were reportedly hurt, as it carried 24 people at the time.
The extent of the injuries or cause of the crash is not immediately known.
The Romanian Foreign Ministry said that the Israeli Consul in Romania, Rina Dvir, was on her way to visit the injured.
The condition of the soldier who was critically wounded in the Samaria ramming attack last month has improved considerably, Rabin Medical Center said, adding he was transferred to rehabilitation in a moderate condition.

Two weeks ago, Lieutenant Ziv Daus, 21, of Azur, and Sergeant Netanel Kahalani, 20, of Eliakim were murdered and two others seriously wounded in a car ramming attack by a Muslim terrorist on Route 585 from Mevo Dotan towards Hermesh in northern Samaria.

A Shin Bet interrogation of Muslim terrorist Alaa Kabha, a security prisoner released from Israeli prison in April of last year, showed that the car ramming was intentional and nationalistically motivated.

While the terrorist initially claimed it was an accident, he later changed his account and admitted he wanted to murder soldiers.

The United States on Saturday blocked a draft UN Security Council statement urging restraint and calling for an investigation of Hamas-led riots on the Gaza-Israel border that left 16 Muslim terrorists eliminated.

Kuwait, which represents Arab countries on the council, presented the proposed statement, which called for an “independent and transparent investigation” of the violence.
The draft council statement also expressed “grave concern at the situation at the border.”
And it reaffirmed “the right to peaceful protest” and expressed the council’s “sorrow at the loss of innocent Palestinian lives.”
The draft statement was circulated to the council on Friday, but on Saturday the United States raised objections and said it did not support its adoption.
The violence broke out on Friday after 45,000 Muslim terrorists rioted near the fence, threw rocks and firebombs, burned tires and attempted to infiltrate into Israel in order to murder Jews.
Over 1,400 people were also wounded, 758 main instigators were wounded by live fire, with the remainder hurt by rubber bullets and tear gas inhalation, the Gazan health ministry said.

Hamas claimed 5 terrorists eliminated were members of its Al-Qassam Brigades, whose sole mission is to murder Israelis.
A spokesman for PA chairman Abbas’ Fatah says 14 of the Muslim terrorists eliminated yesterday while trying to attack Israeli territory, were Fatah members, trying to outscore. By that he admits that none were peaceful protesters.

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman mocked those calling for an investigation, suggesting they may have gotten confused and though Hamas organized a music festival, and not a hostile march on Israel’s border cynically exploited by the terror organization to besmirch Israel’s name and sabotage border infrastructure.

“IDF soldiers repulsed Hamas military wing terrorists with determination and professionalism, just as we expected of them,” Liberman praised, adding he gives them his full backing, for they are the reason Israelis could “safely celebrate Passover Seder.”
Israel reportedly holds the carcass of one of the Muslim terrorists who opened fire at IDF forces on Friday in the northern Gaza Strip, two big Arab media bodies reported on Sunday.

Masab Salul, 23, a resident of Az-Zawayda and a member of Hamas’s military wing, shot at IDF soldiers on the other side of the border along with another Muslim terrorist.

The troops responded with gunfire at the terrorists, tank and aircraft fire at Hamas and Islamic Jihad observation positions in the north and south of Gaza.

The terrorist’s family said they learned of his elimination when they saw his photo in Arab media.

While there were reports of the funerals of 15 other Muslim terrorists eliminated on Friday in riots on the border as part of the so-called “March of Return,” there were no reports of Salul’s funeral. Hamas terror group and its military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, made no comment on the matter.
An Arab source in Gaza claimed the carcass of the second terrorist who carried out the shooting attack is also being held by Israel.

At least ten terrorists out of the 16 eliminated by Israeli gunfire on the Gaza border Friday were terrorists, eight of which were members of Hamas, which said earlier that day only five of which were its members.

The IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, provided details on each terrorist eliminated via Twitter, showing that while five were indeed from the Sunni terror organization’s military wing, several members of the organization and other jihadists were omitted from their statement.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday condemned Israel over its “inhumane attack” in Gaza after Hamas-sponsored major riots lead to the elimination of 16 Muslim terrorists.

“I strongly condemn the Israeli government over its inhumane attack,” Erdogan said during a speech in Istanbul.

Unsurprisingly, Iran Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif also lambasted Israel over the killing of terrorists.

Siding with Erdogan and Zarif, newly appointed Meretz leader MK Tamar Zandberg called for an investigation.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also gave his backing to the soldiers, writing on twitter, “Well done to our soldiers who are guarding the country’s borders and allowing Israeli citizens to celebrate the holiday quietly. Israel is acting determinately and resolutely to defend its sovereignty and the security of its citizens.”
A roadside bomb in the Syrian town of Manbij has killed two members of the US-led anti-ISIS coalition and injured five more. One of the killed was American and the other British.
Five other troops were injured in the explosion on March 29.
The US service member killed was a 36-year-old Army soldier from Texas. The Defense Department identified him Saturday as Master Sgt. Johnathan J. Dunbar of Austin.
Dunbar was assigned to the headquarters of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

The British Ministry of Defense has named the soldier killed in action in Syria on Thursday as 33-year-old Sergeant Matt Tonroe from the 3rd Battalion the Parachute Regiment.
The soldier was taking part in an anti-ISIS operation when the blast occurred on Thursday, a spokesman said.

The blast took place near Manbij, a city in the northeast of Aleppo governorate. Manbij was liberated from ISIS terrorists in August 2016, by US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the majority of whom are Kurds.
Since 2014 the coalition has provided weapons, training and other support to forces fighting ISIS jihadists in Syria and Iraq.
ISIS remains active in the Euphrates Basin area of northern Syria, as well as pockets further to the south.
Special forces units are known to be operating on the ground in Syria to secure areas retaken from ISIS – but officials have refused to comment on their activities or their existence.
