Hamas terror group endangers citizens deliberately by staging them on the frontlines of violence for the fourth consecutive week. Young children and women are sent to the fence as human shields, the IDF said.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said Saturday that 15-year-old Mohammed Ayoub’s death at Gaza border violent riots will be investigated.
“Every incident in which a person is allegedly shot by IDF gunfire is thoroughly investigated by the relevant command hierarchy and is reviewed by the General Staff’s investigative panel,” the spokesperson’s unit said in a statement.
“Hamas endangers citizens deliberately by staging them on the frontlines of violence for the fourth consecutive week. Young children and women are sent to the fence as human shields,” the IDF added.
During yesterday’s riots, in which approximately 10,000 Gazans participated, the terror organizations in Gaza, headed by Hamas, continued to use civilians, including youth and children, as a disguise for different terror acts to damage security infrastructures.

Once the security infrastructure is uprooted, an infiltration into Israel is possible as well as other terror attacks within Israeli territory.
During the riots, burning tires were used to create smokescreens in order to mask attempts to damage the protective infrastructures, rocks were hurled at IDF troops, and kites with burning items attached to them were flown, with the intention of igniting fires in Israeli territory.
Friday morning, the IDF distributed leaflets warning against approaching the fence. However, the terror organizations in Gaza continue to exploit civilians, including many youth and children, while putting them in unnecessary danger.
“The IDF will not allow the security infrastructure to be breached, and will act in order to fulfill its duty to protect the civilians and sovereignty of the State of Israel”, the IDF said.
