Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed Monday evening conclusive proof of a secret project underway in Iran for the development of a nuclear weapon, evidence that proves that Tehran had lied “big time” to the international community.
Netanyahu said Israel has obtained “half a ton” of secret Iranian documents proving the Tehran government once had a nuclear weapons program.
Calling it a “great intelligence achievement,” Netanyahu said that the documents show that Iran lied about its nuclear ambitions before signing a 2015 deal with world powers.
Iran has denied ever seeking nuclear weapons.
In a nationally televised address, Netanyahu said Israel recently uncovered 55,000 documents and 183 CDs of information from Iran’s “nuclear archives.”
Speaking in English, he says the material is filled with incriminating evidence showing the Iranian program, called “Project Amad,” was to develop a weapon.
Israel now has “incriminating documents, incriminating charts, incriminating presentations, incriminating blueprints, incriminating photos, incriminating videos and more,” PM Netanyahu said.
President Donald Trump is to decide by May 12 whether to pull out of the international deal with Iran. Netanyahu has led calls for Trump to withdraw.
BREAKING: Arabs report that Israeli warplanes bombed a huge underground Iranian rockets warehouse near Hama in Homs province. Following the airstrikes, explosions from the surface-to-surface missiles destroyed, caused a 2.6 earthquake.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said shelling targeted a Syrian army base, home to the 47th Brigade, near the city of Salhab, west of Hama, where Iranian forces are stationed.
The monitor said rockets also hit Syrian government bases in the region surrounding Nairab military airport, which is close to Aleppo International Airport.
Earlier Sunday, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said Israel will maintain freedom of operation in Syria.
“We have no intention to attack Russia or to interfere in domestic Syrian issues,” Liberman said. “But if somebody thinks that it is possible to launch missiles or to attack Israel or even our aircraft, no doubt we will respond and we will respond very forcefully.”

PM Netanyahu will meet today with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, a true friend of Israel. He will discuss with him developments in the region, Iran’s growing aggression and the nuclear agreement with Iran, about which there will be a decision soon.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made the following remarks at the start of the weekly Cabinet meeting this morning:
“Today we will welcome US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, a true friend of Israel. I think that it is important that he is coming to Israel as part of his first visit outside the US as Secretary of State. I will discuss with him developments in the region, Iran’s growing aggression and – of course – the nuclear agreement with Iran, about which there will be a decision soon.
Relations between Israel and the US are stronger than ever and I would like to take this opportunity to again to thank President Trump for the decision to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem, which will take place in a few days.
Today the Cabinet will decide to stiffen punishments of those who illegally fire weapons. The current intention is to do this in built-up areas and I would like to expand it to open areas as well. Along with increased enforcement, this is the real way to deal with the phenomenon of the ‘wild south’ – there and everywhere else in the country.
Alongside the tragedy that we experienced with the loss of the young women and men, and we again send condolences to the families, we also recently experienced a happy moment. Israel made a great achievement at the European Judo Championships which were held in Israel. I must say that Israel is a major judo power and I would like to send our congratulations to the athletes, trainers and all those who contributed to this great success.
The Giro d’Italia will come to Israel this weekend. This is one of the most covered sporting events in the world and is of a very large scale. What will happen here is that riders from 45 countries will ride in the Land of Israel and see its vistas and give additional positive attention to the State of Israel in the world.
I must say that Israel is also a leader in sports, in judo and in cycling and this reminds me of what our friend Tal Brody said: We are on the map and prominently so.”
The IDF arrested a Hamas terrorist on Sunday after he was seen damaging the security infrastructure at the Karni crossing on the Gaza border, in order to infiltrate into Israel.
The Muslim terrorist was attempting to break through the security fence under the cover of fog.

“This is another terror activity, through which the Hamas terror organization attempts to infiltrate Israeli territory and harm its citizens,” the IDF said in a statement.
“This is part of the process which the Hamas terror organization attempts to grant a civilian cover to its terror activities, and to turn the border area into a war zone.
“The IDF is determined to act, and to fulfill its obligation to protect Israeli citizens and not to allow damage to the security infrastructures which protect them.”
On Saturday night, three Muslim terrorists were arrested by the IDF after attempting to cross the security border fence in central Gaza.
One of them was found in possession of a knife used to cut the fence.
The three terrorists were transferred to security forces for further questioning

For several weeks now, the Hamas terror group has been leading violent riots that constitute a cover for a series of terrorist attacks against Israeli infrastructures, security forces and civilians.
Last Friday, a large scale violent incursion was carried out, in which Hamas terrorists led hundreds of violent rioters, including terrorists, towards Israel, while throwing explosives, hand grenades and firebombs, and even damaging the fence.

In response to the extensive infiltration attempts into Israeli territory, the IAF attacked six terrorist targets belonging to the Hamas naval force in Gaza.
“The IDF will not allow cynical use of civilians, including children, women and persons with disabilities, as a cover for ongoing terrorist activity against Israeli citizens and IDF forces, and will continue to respond harshly to any such terrorist attempt. The response to the continuation of such incidents will not be confined to the area of the fence and the Hamas terrorist organization will bear its consequences even deep inside the Gaza Strip,” the IDF warned.

Surreal scenes capped off the historic meeting between Kim Jong-un and Moon Jae-in today as they held hands and listened to Korean pop music during a lavish farewell ceremony.
Kim became the first North Korean leader to step into the South for 65 years as he and President Moon vowed ‘there will be no more war’ and agreed to ‘complete denuclearisation’.
The two sworn enemies exchanged a warm greeting at the 38th parallel in the truce village of Panmunjom before the pair held talks and planted a commemorative tree together. The dramatic meeting has been seen as a precursor to planned talks between Kim and US President Donald Trump next month.
As the summit came to an end today, Kim and Moon clasped hands as K-pop blared during a bizarre farewell and photos of their meeting were projected onto a massive screen installed in front of the building where they met. Kim then boarded a black Mercedes Benz limousine that drove him back north.
This afternoon, Kim and Moon embraced warmly after signing a statement in which they declared ‘there will be no more war on the Korean Peninsula’. The two countries said they will push for talks with the US, and potentially China, to officially end the 1950-53 conflict, which stopped with an armistice and left the Koreas still technically at war.
They also agreed to rid their peninsula of nuclear weapons but did not provide any new specific measures outlining how to achieve the objective.
Kim said: ‘We are going to be one again, as we share the same history, the same language, the same culture, the same blood. We are going to happily look back at the hard times in the past when we achieve a new future. No pain, no gain. Let us go forward, step by step for the bright future together.’
It comes following a year in which North Korea, the South and the US traded increasingly bellicose rhetoric about nuclear war amid a series of atomic tests by Kim’s regime, but then dramatically softened their stances in the last few months.
A delighted Donald Trump tweeted this morning: ‘KOREAN WAR TO END! The United States, and all of its GREAT people, should be very proud of what is now taking place in Korea!’
In an earlier tweet, he had cautiously praised the talks, writing: ‘After a furious year of missile launches and Nuclear testing, a historic meeting between North and South Korea is now taking place. Good things are happening, but only time will tell!’
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed Friday night that the IAF attacked six terrorist targets belonging to the Hamas naval force in Gaza.
The attack was carried out in response to the extensive infiltration attempts into Israeli territory earlier today, when a group of Muslim terrorists breached the Gaza border fence and attempted to infiltrated into Israeli territory.

The rioters approached the security fence, hurled rocks and firebombs, and tried to light the fence on fire. In response, IDF troops operated in accordance with the rules of engagement and thwarted the attempted infiltration.
