Terror in Jerusalem: Security guard stabbed and seriously wounded – Muslim terrorist eliminated

An Israeli security guard in his 20s was seriously wounded after being stabbed multiple times by a Muslim terrorist on Hagai Street in Jerusalem’s Old City.

The victim was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, where he was said to be in very serious condition. Officials from MDA say the guard suffered multiple stab wounds to his upper torso during the attack.

The Muslim terrorist was promptly eliminated by a police officer at the scene and pronounced dead.

Police have closed Jaffa Gate to traffic in the wake of the attack, and are combing the area for any possible additional terrorists.

Channel 10 reported that Turkish identity papers were found on the body of the terrorist, who carried out his attack on HaGai Street.
