In response to violent riots, explosive devices thrown at troops and infiltration attempts, IDF tanks struck 2 Hamas posts in Gaza. IDF reservists have been called up to reinforce the border. Additional Iron Dome batteries deployed in Tel Aviv, Ashdod and other areas in central Israel.
